In Build Coverage Solutions

 In-building coverage solutions are employed to maintain good mobile communications service inside airports, shopping malls, company HQs and similar buildings and can be achieved by the installation of small, low-powered internal antenna systems called pico cells.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Corporate coverage

These internal schemes usually arise at the request of a major corporate customer or via the marketing departments desire to increase the coverage at a point of interest. Generally, these require the customer to enter into a licence and the project management of the design and installation teams. Sitec Infrastructure Services Ltd has undertaken project management and co-ordination for corporate client rollouts of both pico and macro sites across the UK. We also manage the operator-customer relationship for all corporate in-building schemes for a major UK operator.

Corporate temp sites

When a rapid coverage solution is required we arrange for the temporary site licence to be signed with the customer or the host event. We deliver to very tight timescales and co-ordinate with the customers installation partner to achieve the desired objective.

Non-corporate

These schemes are usually self-funded by the site operator or owner to further enchance an office, shopping centre or other venue's facilities. The work involves the acquisition of material rights, upgrading existing installations, as well as the acquisition of new sites. We can provide Town Planning advice and solutions, where Heritage issues arise, as well as project management of the design team.

Although this list is not exhaustive, and is restricted due to the sensitive negotiations and non-disclosure covenants, but identifies the major successes secured by us:

  • All major managed rail stations in UK – renegotiation of equipment rights and rental parameters with Network Rail,

  • Train Operating Companies (TOCs) – negotiation of equipment rights, lease and rental parameters,

  • Prestige Hotels – negotiation for the install of DAS within some of the major landmark hotels in Central London,

  • Points of Interest - negotiation for the install of DAS within some of the major landmark shopping centres, airports and conference centres in the UK,

  • FA Premiership – Lease negotiation for installation of in-Building solutions at Premiership ground.
