At the Huawei UK Partner Convention held on 17th May in central London, Huawei signed an official memorandum of understanding (MOU) with their UK partners across multiple sectors.
The MOU, which includes both deployment and 5G training for partners, builds on Huawei’s commitment to procure £3bn from UK businesses over the next five years and is evidence of the significance of the UK’s digital market.
Baroness Fairhead, Minister of State for the Department for International Trade, said:

Mr Yao Fuhai, Huawei Board Director and Chief Supply Chain Officer, said: “Huawei is committed to supporting the growth of communities and industries by ensuring that we all move forward together to a better connected, intelligent world.”
“The Partner Convention reminds us of the crucial role our partners play in the ICT ecosystem, and that excellent partners and suppliers are an intangible asset. As a leading global ICT company, we hope to contribute to the positive impact ICT can have across key areas such as health, education, finance and transport.”
The conference is the fifth annual partner convention from Huawei which celebrate the importance of its partnerships, and celebrate the ability of collaboration to drive quality.

Adam Eatock, one of Sitec’s Directors said, “SITEC are delighted to be asked to support Huawei with rolling out 5G services over the coming years in the next evolution of mobile services. SITEC have worked closely with Huawei over the past four years and have built a strong partnership during this time.
