Adam Eatock
Director
Adam is a qualified Structural Engineer with a background at Hannah Reed and Smith-Woolley. He has a myriad of experience on large construction projects and telecommunications portfolios. He set up Comms Solutions with Chris in 2000 and likewise was part of the team which formed Sitec in 2007.
Adam heads up our Design Division where he manages a large team of engineers and CAD operators in delivering multiple design projects for both the telecoms and turbines sectors of the business. Adam somehow finds time as a qualified football coach to manage a number of local mini-league and colts teams. Indeed Sitec are the proud sponsors of this years Burwell under 12’s first team!
Christopher Evans
Director
Chris’ background is in surveying, having spent 9 years with Chartered Surveyors Smith-Woolley in the early 90’s, gleaning a wealth of experience in the emerging telecommunications market. He was one of the founders of Comms Solutions UK Ltd in 2000 and was part of the MBO which bought the Infrastructure Services Division from construction company Metnor plc in 2007, forming Sitec.
Chris sees himself as a bit of an Eco-Warrior and heads up our wind turbine division. He says that nothing gives him greater satisfaction at the end of a hard day on site than seeing another of Sitec’s turbines spinning in the wind and generating renewable electricity! When he’s not being that sad he likes to spend time on the banks of his beloved River Wye in Herefordshire with rod in hand.
David Hawthorne
Director
David has spent 12 years in the telecoms industry primarily in the UK but supporting activities in EMEA. He has also undertaken various lead roles within the telecoms environment for Operators, Vendors and Private Companies. He was the Vodafone and T-Mobile Account Manager for LCC UK, and their National Acquisition and Planning Manager.
David was CEO of Telecoms specialists Pico Consultants Ltd who merged with Sitec in March 2010. David is a Chartered Surveyor, a Member of the Association for Project Management and an Associate of the Chartered Management Institute. David is a keen sailor and recently completed the 2011 Fastnet Race – don’t ask him where he came, we nearly sent out a search party!
Ian Payne
Director
Ian worked with both Comms Solutions UK Ltd and Metnor Plc before becoming part of the MBO in 2007. He has been a Build Manager since 2002 working with high profile telecom clients from Airwave to Vodafone. In addition to taking charge of our build activities he also has comprehensive knowledge of electrical design and engineering, and heads up the commissioning teams on our wind turbine work.
Ian is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institue of Engineering and Technology. Outside of work, Ian has an unhealthly obsession with large motorbikes and is planning to build his own chopper in his retirement.... dream on!!
Andrew Wooltorton
Commercial Manager
Andrew joined Sitec in 2010 after previous liaisons with the team at Metnor Plc. He has a wealth of experience in surveying and sales in the telecoms industry with APC Communications, Darland and Metnor Plc. He is in charge of wind turbine sales and has been instrumental in Sitec Infrastructure Services Ltd becoming one of the leading suppliers of the Quietrevolution 5kW turbine.
A multi-tasking individual with a broad understanding of turbine projects from feasibility, planning through to electrical connection and commissioning, Andrew is the first port of call for all our renewable enquiries. Along with Delia he is also a keen Norwich City fan and is looking forward to an exciting season in the premiership - enjoy it while it lasts Andrew!
